If you’re anything like me, there are things you do just because it’s what you’ve always done - it doesn’t matter if you like it or not, or if it works or not… but it should matter!
I’m going to use procrastination as an example. We all know it causes more stress and we do better work when we don’t procrastinate. But we all still procrastinate, right!

This trick may not cure procrastination, but it does help increase awareness of our actions and their outcomes.
What is working?
What isn’t working?
It’s a simple practice with simple questions, but it can pack a big punch. I love reflecting on these questions at the end of my day (or even during the day sometimes!) It helps me see what I can eliminate or decrease and what I should keep doing!

Magic happens when we slow down enough to be able to analyze what we are doing, how we are feeling, and what we need in order to continue to progress. You’ll start being more intentional with your time. You’ll be more productive. You’ll do more of what is fun to you. You won’t feel like you are working or cleaning all day with little or no results. Confidence will grow.

We felt this concept was so important we incorporated it in two of our planners. The Intentional Day planner has sections every day to remind you to ask these questions. The Intentional Mom Planner also has a space with this prompt every month.
What is working well for you?
