Are you ready for a new month!? I am! I love new beginnings and this month we are going to focus on reflection.
2020 has been a crazy year for all of us and it can be easy to get caught up in everything that went “wrong.” So let’s take some extra time to focus on the positive!
Your challenge is to look back on each month in 2020 and write at least one good thing that came from that month. Things you learned, things that changed your perspective, memories, struggles you overcame and anything else that comes to mind! Maybe you can even come up with more than one thing each month.
For me, this has been a year of intense clarity for me. I strengthened my priorities, starting letting go of unnecessary things, and I got crystal clear on the life I want to live - for me and for my family. It has launched my business and my lifestyle in ways I didn’t think were possible during this time.
Reflection is a tool that leads to action. When we can look into our past and our present, we can more accurately prepare for and create the future we desire. It allows us to see what isn’t working and we need to cut out. It also enables us to see and continue what is working.
So now that you have your reflection for the year, start to analyze what worked and what didn’t. Obviously there will be things that are out of your control - hello covid. Try to focus on the things that you have control over. Your home, your family, your spending and saving, your mindset and attitudes. Dream about the life you want to create and find ways you can begin to make it happen. Use your reflection of 2020 to propel you into intentional action in 2021 - but don’t wait until January 1! Start this month to choose an intentional habit - your priority - and watch your life transform.
